A Trip Back in Time for Older Fans of the Franchise
I had this book when I was 9 years old, and like most treasured childhood things, it became lost over time. I recently saw this book for sale and decided to go for it.
It's provided me with a lot of nostalgia from my childhood. It also has a guide to a Nintendo 64 game, Pokemon Snap, that I still play, and the guide is very useful to this day.
This book was at my side for months after I bought it as a kid, and I'm glad to have it sitting in plain view again.

Disappointed on many levels.
7 von 8 finden das hilfreich I was expecting much, much more from this game. There is almost no story or reason to want to play this game once you start it. Being able to play different characters is a cool idea, but when it has zero effect on the story and gameplay, it's useless. The "levels" are boring. The battles consist of the same few monsters, and you're going to get ambushed and outrun by them so much it makes traveling a chore. Not to mention you only level up abilities by using them, and you only gain new ones at random, during battle, which can completely interrupt your strategy if your character decides to learn a new skill. because they immediately use it in the same turn that they learn it in. The CD and art book are both nice, but I feel zero attachment to this game, so why would I want to look at the artwork or listen to the soundtrack? I'm seriously disappointed in the game's execution. I stopped playing after about two hours of randomly running around and having NO idea what I was supposed to do...and when I looked up what I was supposed to do, it's literally just "fill in the maps and run around a lot" until the story decides to move itself along. No real objectives, no story, nothing interesting whatsoever.
