former library books merely called "used" books. There's a difference.
The book was a former library book, and therefore not what I wanted. However, it was too inexpensive a purchase to warrant asking for my money back. SELLERS SHOULD STIPULATE WHETHER OR NOT "USED" BOOKS ARE MERELY "USED" OR THAT THEY ARE "FORMER LIBRARY" BOOKS, WITH LABELLED SPINES, STAMPING, AND GLUED-ON POCKETS!

Great album of Yiddish and Hebrew tunes sung by a great artist.
This is a rich and faithful CD of a now-expensive rare LP album, so I was glad to find it, especially at such a low price. Mimi Sloan, who died about seven years ago, was a great, but little known singer of yiddish and Hebrew songs. (She was better known as part of a sister singing team known as The Feder Sisters.) On this solo album she exuded warmth, had a great feel for the material, and had a wonderful voice with a full range. The orchestrations are simple but classy. I love listening to this in my car's CD player.
