Century Digital Cooling Temperature Controller Thermostat refrigerator icebox

Great price and it works perfectly

Bought both the cooling and heating controllers to maintain environment in my small greenhouse. Both units are working perfectly after 2 weeks and are accurate. I have both sensors near each other and they always read within .4 degrees of each other. Set your cooling temperature 2 degrees below the maximum you want temperature to reach... unit will turn on at 2 degrees above setting and run your fan/ac until temp cools to your setting. Setup is easy, buttons work firm and easy, readout is bold and easy! Was a bit hesitant due to low price but I'm very pleased with them!

Hard to find feature; great for monitoring greenhouse

Hard to find a unit that includes outdoor humidity; this one does and keeps high/low records for both temp and humidity for both indoor and outdoors. I'm using the remote sensor in my greenhouse to monitor conditions from the display in my house, a great convenience and time saver. I can glance at it many times a day and know that my cooling and heating equipment is working. Have tested beside 3 other known thermometers and it is accurate.

Super quiet!

So quiet that when I first tested it I couldn't tell it was on! Had previously installed the Braun 50CFM unit with a 3 inch outlet in a small greenhouse to exhaust hot air but it was running a lot to keep up. I upgraded to this 80CFM model with a 4 inch outlet and it cools the room 2 degrees in 1 minute! I have great hearing and struggle to hear this unit running. Also, it uses 1/3 the electricity of the 50CFM unit so it will make up the cost difference in time. Unit is larger and sturdier than the 50CFM one but uses a very similar and good installation design. Would highly recommend!
