Great!
Rounded ends, but sharp cutting edges.

Shiny!
For my uses, it's too large, and I'd like a smaller version, say around 2/3 linear of the skimmer spoon.

Lamp for Leitz Focomat V35 enlarger
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich The lamp originally supplied with the Leitz Focomat V35 is reported to have had a short life, and early in the enlarger's production, Leitz changed to the #13139 lamp from Philips. This necessitated a change in the lamp-holder, and later enlargers were supplied with a modified lamp-holder and Philips #13139 lamp, 12V 75W. It's now around 35 years since the Focomat V35 went into production, and I understand that Philips ceased making the #13139 some time ago. Another similar lamp, the ANSI coded EFN, appears to work OK, i.e. it's a 12V 75W with the same base, but my sample has a shorter focal length, and light is wasted in the lamp-house – i.e. it doesn’t get into the mixing-chamber. This 13139 has a longer focal length, and appears to concentrate its light better onto the dichroic filters and then into the mixing chamber where it's needed.
The 13139 lamp supplied to me has a glass pip on the edge of the housing, and the V35 lamp-holder does not have a suitable recess, so when installed the lamp is tilted slightly away from optimum. I imagine I could use a Dremel tool to remove this pip if it really bothers me, but the focused spot isn’t that well formed.
At the moment, 21-03-2018, I haven’t measured the light levels on my enlarger baseboard for the different lamps, nor have I made any prints – it’s a work in progress!
I have no knowledge of other uses of the 13139 lamp, so can't comment, and at the moment I have no knowledge of the life of the supplied lamp.
