Great reel for the price

Great reel for the price. Stands up to the salt water as long as it isn't dunked and has a great drag system. Casts well and light in weight as a balance to a lighter saltwater rod.

Redington Classic Trout -A classic for sure!

It says describe pros and cons...there are no cons! Thos rod is a fantastic fly rod for the money. The blank feels light and balanced with a good medium/moderate action. wraps on guides are perfect, cork handle is good quality standard cork with a nice feel in the hands. A beautiful cocoa brown gloss finish on the blank. This rod casts perfectly with a WT4F line( I purchased the 904-4) and laying dry flies on the water was a smooth as butter. IMHO, you cannot beat the quality of this Redington Classic Trout Rod for the money when comparing to other high end rods. This rod feels like a rod costing a few hundred more than it does...trust me, I own Sages, Scotts and Winston rods. whether you're a beginner fly fisher or a seasoned veteran, this rod is worth it!
