Best bridge for ANY 4-string Fender bass
This bridge allows the best string alignment over the pickup pole pieces, the best string spacing, keeps the Fender sound and it’s also the cheapest option! Aftermarket die-cast bridges change the sound of the instrument; if you don’t want the Fender sound, don’t play one!

Does what it says
I installed this in a P Bass Special to match the output of an Area P pickup that was already in it. Worked great, turned the bass into a real hotrod!

They don’t work well together
Separately, these pickups are both excellent, but the output of the J pickup is so much lower than that of the P that when you use them together you lose output overall. I had to replace the J pickup with a higher-output model to match the output of the P pickup. I feel I wasted money by believing the manufacturer’s recommendation that they would work well as a set. They don’t!
