My name is Emily and I have always had nostalgia fever. In 2020, when the pandemic was at its scariest, I started collecting all of the toys from my youth that I had long ago given away. Cabbage Patch Dolls were my favourite and I've always had a soft spot for them.
As my collection grew, I found some treasured toys that needed repairs and I really loved being able to bring them back to life. I have since been refurbishing Cabbage Patch Dolls and other toys from the 1980s-1990s - but I admire toys from all generations.

Embilay is my name that was first said to me the day before I left a month-long magical visit with my extended family in New Zealand. My then two year-old nephew struggled with my name for the whole month that I spent with them, so when he learned to say 'Embilay' on our last day, it had quite an emotional effect on me.
