Light detective series with tones of serious reality.
A very entertaining and compassionate detective series. Luca is a good dramatic and comedic actor along with his fellow actors. It would have been wonderful to have two-hour segments, but it was for tv viewing. All the same actors except LIvia continued in the cast through the years which is amazing in itself. You get a flavor a Sicily and it's mafia problems as well as everyday human failings. The characters are most entertaining in their development throughout the series. I enjoyed it when you want something more contemplative and real than high action police series.
