Excellent card for your server
I purchased this card for my personal Linux server and it performs very well, with no configuration issue if you need to aggregate one or more ports or use it with ESXi or KVM for your VMs.
Keep in mind it's a card for a server, based on Intel hardware so do not buy this one if you plan to use it on a low spec PC or with an extravagant chipset on the motherboard since it may not boot. Not the card's fault, it just needs to be used in its intended environment.

Solid performance, great compatibility
Solid performance and great compatibility with servers environments.
As always being an Intel based card, no issues on Linux/BSD based operating systems
