The light is a nice addition and low eno...
The light is a nice addition and low enough profile and does fit a plate. I did however have to drill all new holes in a Jeep JL to fit it. There were zero instructions with it. The main issue and reason for mediocre score is the connection to XB lights. Sure it plugs in but there is NO retention. The plug falls out with very little friction.

Works fine
Slick little keyboard slides out for typing instead of hunting and pecking onscreen. Only problem is the keyboard is not fully mapped to every type of onscreen entry ( and I don't think it could) so not everything you hit on keyboard ends up the desired result on screen. The RF is miles better than the old IR technology. Good heft. Buttons mostly intuitive. Works with the Bolt. The TV functions only took two tries to get the right code.

Should pay for itself quickly.
If you have used one of the main services then you know they charge you for every thing you do and every piece of equipment in every room every month. Tivo does cost as a service but only a fraction of other services. Just the fact that someone sits there and marks commercials so I can zap then instantly (which works very well BTW) is worth the cost. This one was open box but was discounted and in perfect shape. I like the way you can stil see the show when you fast forward or jump. The menus change fast. No problems getting it registered. Works good with Mini. The only glitch I have seen is it did not give me all my channels a couple time briefly. There must be some type of issue with the Cable Card that I got from the cable company.
