A great little printer for on-the-go, mobile needs.
I am a professional photographer, and own a photobooth where we travel to various customer locations to shoot and print. I've tried several different printer brands and models, and the only one to take a beating and keep on printing is the Sony DPP-FPxx lineup. I love it because their trays and cartridges/paper are standard ( so we can interchange them between printers of the same series ), they are reasonably quick ( approx. 57 seconds per 4X6 print ), they are easy for any of my assistants to operate, and they break down easily for storage. They're reasonably low wattage ( I believe?? ), and we've even ran them remotely from my FJ Cruiser, as well as from UPS supplies. I wish the paper/cartridge cost was about ten dollars or so cheaper, but still, for the quality, this printer is the only printer that I and my team unanimously agree upon to use. Thank you, Sony, for a great product.
