Marie-Claire Alain: L'orgue Francais (UK IMPORT) CD / Box Set NEW
Have not listened to all of the CDs yet, but the recordings, in my opinion, are of great quality on my 11-channel system. I shy away from trying to describe musical sounds - to me it would be like trying to describe what different colors look like - how to do it. The performance is by the legendary Marie-Claire Alain, "The First Lady of the organ" - need I say more, except I would not criticize unless I could do better, which of course I could not.

Marcel Dupre Remastered Edition [CD New]
Great recordings - great sound - a fantastic buy with fast shipping. I never heard of the Plangent Process and Audio Restoration, which is listed on this remastered edition. In my opinion, the sound is comparable to a Super Audio Compact Disc/Direct Stream Digital disc, but they are actually Red Book CDs. They just do not sound like some older remastered recordings - only much much better. I will stop since I believe describing recorded audio sound is somewhat like describing colors. I just think that seeing/hearing is believing.

Beethoven's 9th Sym. - Furtwangler conducts
The remaster of this recording is superb. Sounds like a current recording.
