One of my favorite recent films
This movie is absolutely fantastic, and a welcome addition to the Mad Max franchise. There are several themes that intertwine throughout this movie, and the characters are written extremely well. The post-apocalyptic environment that the characters find themselves at odds with is unsettling and brilliant.
It is recommended that viewers have some experience with the franchise to fully appreciate this film. Not necessary by any means, but this movie has so much more to offer with the knowledge of where the main character (Max) has been, and the hellish wasteland he has had to survive through. Similarly, it is exciting to see what elements from past films have been updated in Fury Road.
This film is an instant classic.
