Soothing to doggy's eyes!

Our dog seems to like the way it feels in his eyes. He is totally blind but he doesn't try to rub it out, as with other drops that veterinarians have prescribed in the past. In fact at morning and night both, he seems to sense when it is time for us to put in his drops. He starts barking at us when it's time and bumps his way into the kitchen, where we usually apply them. If he doesn't need to go outside to pee or whatever, then he simply makes his way peacefully back to his pallet. We put this product in about five minutes after we put in an antibiotic drop. Maybe those sometimes itch his eyes. I'm not sure.

More stable as a "cut-in", than others that are made for similar application.

It is less than 4" in diameter, so it is covered by smoke detectors, small based light fixtures, small stem bases etc. It has a straight contact when installed, to the front and back of the sheetrock or paneling where it is mounted. Its counterpart has little flip-out wings that pull on the back of the sheetrock and because they are so narrow, they are bad about pulling through and more apt to damage the sheetrock or thin paneling. The snap brackets contact more area, without as much of a pull–through problem. They will at times pull through if the sheetrock is wet, or way too much tightening is used.
