As advertised, but caveats
The product is good and as advertised; however the hulls do not seem to be softened at all and it takes well beyond normal cooking to soften. I've used it once so far, cooking it for 15 minutes in a pressure cooker, 1 hour boiling at normal pressure, then 3 hours in a a dish along with beans and a pork roast, and it still was extremely chewy. If you're looking for something similar to canned hominy you will likely be disappointed.

Works just as expected
I researched this model before buying (and looked specifically for it) and knew what it SHOULD be. Since it was used, that's always a question, but in this case the item was just like new except for the box and instructions (the latter easily found online).
