Great plodding funeral doom with Lovecraftian themes.
An amazing funeral death/doom album. I wish this band and the mastermind behind it would release more material. It's not as complex as early Anathema or My Dying Bride, but still retains that level of intellect and much MUCH more brutal. Super long slow plodding songs. The Lovecraftian themes are of course the icing on the cake. If you like early Ahab with less melody and more primal terror than this is a great album. I'm so happy I have a limited edition vinyl of this album, I'm going to be listening to it for a long time.
