Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence Collector's Edition UK PAL DVD David Bowie
Really enjoyed this WW2 movie w/ David Bowie. The acting was engaging. This is not a shoot em up movie but has a rich story line. The musical score from Ryuichi Sakamoto is one of my favorites. His song Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence is one of my most favorite songs. He is actually an actor in this movie and it is really amazing how popular it is in Japan as well as many artists on YouTube. David Bowie does an excellent acting job and it is clear why it won awards. Recommend this movie wholeheartedly. 5 Star. Only negative is that it does not cover the entire scope of the actual story. "The film deals with the relationships among four men in a Japanese prisoner of war camp during the Second World War — Major Jack Celliers (Bowie), a rebellious South African with a guilty secret from his youth; Captain Yonoi (Sakamoto), the young camp commandant; Lieutenant Colonel John Lawrence (Conti), a British officer who has lived in Japan and speaks Japanese fluently; and Sergeant Hara (Takeshi), who is seemingly brutal and yet humane in some ways and with whom Lawrence develops a peculiar friendship."

Wireless Isn't Always Better
New Factory Sealed HP X500 Black USB 3-Button Optical Wired Mouse:
Was looking to replace my wireless mouse as it was getting annoying having to replace the battery(s). Wireless isn't always better and for my home workstation PC it is just as easy to have a wired USB mouse. These are new and sealed. The per unit price was reasonable. Nice to have a few extra's in the house.
