This one was easy to install!!!!
AFTER GOING THROUGH A COUPLE PIECES OF EXPENSIVE G GLASS, AND RUINING THEM, THIS WAS A BREEZE TO INSTALL. I DID HAVE MY INEXPENSIVE RUBBERY COVER ON WHILE I INSTALLED IT. IT DID HELP AS A GUIDE. BUT NO BUBBLES? GO FIGURE? Thanks NOVA seller! I grew up in Fairfax Co..

1/8" extra on each end. Very thin piece of steel. Cork on back.
Not entirely stainless steel. Very thin steel. Has cork on the back. Is described as 12" in body of of listing but is actually 18". Has 1/8" extra on each side so you can't put end of ruler up against something and just measure.

Great if you know what you are doing.
This is excellent, but I don't recommend it because you really have to know what you are doing with it, especially on a high-priced guitar like a Taylor, for which it is meant. If you know how to properly set-up a neck using it's built-in truss rod, than go ahead and buy it. Taylor stopped giving these out with newly purchased guitars because people were doin more harm than good to their guitars. This is not a "live and learn" item.
