FIXED THE KOHLER ENGINE SHUTDOWN BACKFIRE
I bought this because the lawn mower engine would backfire when it was shut down. Research on the internet showed that some engines will not start because the fuel shut off solenoid is bad.
The solenoid screwed into the carburetor with no problem. The positive lead plugged in with no problem. I attached the ground wire eyelet with a valve cover bolt, no problem. The engine started up, no problem and shutdown without backfiring. Problem fixed.
