Must read
This is a very insightful and through book. I wish it was more widely known and read. There are things such as The System of Specialization which people would really benefit from thinking about. I read it about 15 years ago and that stuck with me. Looking forward to a reread. Well worth owning a copy.

Looks good
I have been studying voice and struggling with understanding music theory. I really need to see things as pictures, shapes not just explained as theory or linear writing. No one could really help me with this and I am happy yo have stumbled on this book, I think it will help me a lot. Being made of recycled content all the better.

Top favorite herbal reference books
This two volume set and the more pocket sized The Herb Book by John Lust are in my most valued, and used books. This books is not so modern now being written in the 1930s, but is still relevant and useful. Some of the taxonomic classifications have since changed. Each plant (there are many covered, including many foods such as apples) has an entry usually listing the basics of a material medica, but often also includes cultivation methods and other info.
