3 von 3 finden das hilfreich I purchased this zapper with the intention of using it against a bug it was not designed for, white-faced hornets. I wanted to replace the llight with meat. I quickly estabished that the unit will not work without the light inserted. Either the light completes the circuit, or there's a safety circuit that prevents the electrified cage from working if the light isn't inserted. Step two was to use rubber bands to hold two slices of bacon on the light, which worked for a time. While the light is not blazing hot, it will cook the bacon to a small degree, and it will melt the rubber bands. While everything was in place, it zapped a number of hornets and wasps. Step three will be to find a very thin insulator to put around the light bulb so that the bacon and rubber bands don't get fried.
