Great scanner for negatives and slides.
Excellent entry level scanner. If you use Windows 10 be sure to go to the Epson site and get the updated drivers and software. If you take the time to master the software you can get professional results. The bundled scanning software is very good, if you want to spend a few bucks, then you might want to check out Vuescan. The included photo editor is good but a little dated and not on the par with Photoshop or Thr Gimp. The deciding factor for me was the medium format film capabilities, since I have a lot of medium format negatives that I shot back in the 70s & 80s. If you don't need to scan negatives and slides, then get a simpler scanner.
