2 von 2 finden das hilfreich Worked for me to get rid of a bad cyano outbreak in my saltwater reef tank. Took two treatments a week apart to get rid of all of it. Ran my skimmer after four hours of initial dosing but had to raise it three to four inches to keep from "over-foaming". Also added some air stones. Dissolved oxygen levels will drop a lot so don't turn skimmer off for too long, or add air to keep DO concentrations from dropping too low. It helped my macro algae; it is doing a lot better after this treatment.

Nice but wish the relay was rated higher.
0 von 1 finden das hilfreich It works well, although I have concerns about the low relay amperage rating. Because the rating on the relay is low, the neutral wire (not the line wire) must be used for the switch on the heater or fan...this is not the ideal way to switch anything with voltage that can kill. The proper way to switch something is to use the load wire and not the neutral wire. You don't want power thru the device when it is off. For the price is is great though. I would be willing to pay more for one with a higher rated relay though.
