It was a choice between this and the Monroe quick strut. Even though the KYB costs more I have to believe it is worth it. The struts on my 2007 Corolla def need to be replaced. From what I see this is pretty easy DIY. Also impressed by the speedy delivery.

It's a brake drum...
Not sure how excited anyone can get about a brake drum. I like Centric parts for my older cars because they a good quality at a low price. It fit perfectly, and is a lot nicer than the rusted one it replaced.

My 2007 Corolla has 140,000 miles and the original struts are quite rusty. As with most jobs on an old car, the hardest part is removing the old part. I did that on the passenger side and the new strut went in easily. I'll be repeating this on the driver side. It was a choice between KYB and Monroe. KYB was a little more expensive but I feel it was worth it.
