If you want OD or Dist, get this, you will not be disappointed

This does what they say. Works differently, sounds great and noise is pretty much non existent. I run a Barber Tone Press into a Wampler Equator and then a Decimate to cut noise. The Holy Fire comes after that, total surprise when there was no need to move the decimate after it, appears to generate no internal noise. Its basically a wave shaper that changes the signal shape to what would come out of an overdrive or distortion, because it does not use the high gain, which is full of noise and hiss, to create a signal which is overdriven or distorted, there is no noise created. Wonderful pedal, I have the "9" which benefits from using a standard high current 9v output from my pedalboard multi output power source. Earlier models have a 48v PSU, careful if buying the older model, make sure it includes the PSU, as 48v are not that common. Oh, I nearly forgot, with the cutouts in the steel enclosure, backlit by multicolored LEDs, it is the coolest looking pedal I use.

If you have a gibson, you NEED this

Excellent design and manufacture, it's German, say no more Why do Gibson keep churning out the same old gear with the same old problems when for a small additional percentage they could rectify the problems, this being one example. I had issues on 3 of my guitars, the 2nd and 3rd strings binding, it would just approach tune and then jump past tune as the string slipped through the nut Doesn't happen now and never will Oh, and they ship faster than some US e-bayers
