A worthy continuation of Leiber’s stories
It’s a worthy continuation of the Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser tales. Definitely a different author and style, but better suited to a novel format (vs original stories which were shorter novellas.). Bailey can express more feelings and setting, while Leiber was constrained by the magazine story format that most of this series was in. Bailey remains true to the characters.
