It's an excellent film of a wonderful concert
It made me wish I'd been there! The birds in the park actually join in during Smetena's The Moldau - but it's not distracting - it just adds to the atmosphere.

Not Bad Dio Live Album but Others Are Better
0 von 1 finden das hilfreich It's interesting to hear Ronnie do Mistreated again (and they put a bit if Catch The Rainbow in it too) but the newer songs aren't so good (except maybe Hunter Of The Heart) and Tracy G is the worst guitarist Dio has worked with - he has worked with the best though so I'm not really insulting Mr. G. Vinnie Appice isn't really cutting it either (he can still play - I saw him with Heaven And Hell - and he still has a ridiculously large drum kit) and, the keyboard player is mostly unheard (I saw Dio play in London last year and he doesn't do much anyway) so it's a good thing RJD is singing really well! Out of all the live DVDs and CDs Dio has put out this is the weakest but I'm glad I bought it - at least because now I know not to buy the other albums he put out around this time - but also because, even though I've been mostly negative about it, it's still Dio and so always worth listening to.

really interesting music - especially Rainy Night In Tallinn - you need to play it really loud though
