GREAT OLD ENGLISH BIBLE
The Bible came in a protective box that is reusable and the actual book is leather.It didn’t come with the book of Enoch but it still had many apocryphal books or books who aren’t seen as canon anymore.The pages are thin like mass produced church bibles but it’s fine.Also the wording is old English,so old that it shows signs of the 1611 printing press.You can tell this to be true because in this version they substitute U’s for V’s and vice versa.This was done to make changing italics on the printing press easier than changing every U to a V. But in full honesty,I can actually read this KJV better than my newer KJV bibles which I find interesting. Also this book has better translations for certain verses.For example in my 2000’s KJV it says that the prior east kingdom was for the Reubinites, Gadenites, and half of the tribe of Manassah. But in this 1611 version it say it belongs to the half tribe THAT IS Manasseh.That’s a big difference and it’s sad to see that newer bibles lack in this respect.So I’d definitely say this version is great and provides accurate translations.I use it as my main Bible to read while using supporting bibles for unclear old English terms. Definitely worth the $80 if you like collecting different time period bibles.
