Better than the original Porter-Cable battery packs

The Porter-Cable OEM battery packs do not last very long. I bought several spares and they are weak by the end of a year. At 6 months on one of these and it is still going strong. More capacity too. So purchased 3 more at a good price.

Temporary troubleshooting fix

New parts for 25+ year old vehicles are hard to find, especially since GM filed for bankruptcy and will not support any vehicle made before the bankruptcy. This will be used only until I can purchase NOS parts for the EGR system. The China-stuff is not worth the additional headache of poor quality contributing to my problem. It is aggravating to purchase a 'new' part which makes the problem and emissions worse. Besides the vehicle is currently used off-road and infrequently.

Better than Comp Cams

I bought some Comp Cam rockers. Paid about $150 for them. The coating on them was terrible and Comp Cams was NO help. The coating was like sandpaper and the rockers would not 'rock' because of the friction that I observed during installation. I should not have to polish the rocker. So I went to old reliable: Sealed Power. Installation and setup was easy and accurate. Excellent quality and recommended over the Comp Cam rockers. Since Comp Cams would not warranty them I traded them for a new Edelbrock intake manifold.
