Needs to be mannipulated during installation
The way the shelves were made the solder points of the posts of the wire basket kept the slider track from moving freely. I had to bend the posts manually with a hammer away from the slider track to correct the problem. I had purchased 3. They were all the same. I made it work. Otherwise the quality is fine.

Removes the Minerals.
It works great! It distills a gallon of water in 5.5 hours. This allows me to do 4 gallons in 24 hours, with a 20 minute cool down in between. The filter is necessary. I was surprised there was a smell in the tap water that was not noticeable until the water was distilled. The reason for buying it was to remove the minerals in the water that were evaporating in the cold water vapor humidifier. It would create white dust an the surfaces in the house. Not anymore.
