I was getting good response from the casting when suddenly the side plate flew off with one of my casts. Fortunately it didn't end up in the water, Because the spool continued to spin, the reel sustained some damage in the flange where the bearing is located from the bearing retaining peg, which prevented the spool from seating, thus, I was unable to replace the side plate onto the reel. I took it to the Bass Pro Shop near me where it was exchanged for a replacement reel. I think that the side plate release switch is something that I have to be aware of when casting because I'm a lefty and the release can possibly be hit when casting aggressively.

The title is excellent for this book. The author did extensive research. I believe that the content could have identified matters related to anglers.
