very good stand alone record player that double as hi fi turntable and USB uploader.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Excellent item and price. The built in speakers are not hi fi quality but adequate, like the old record players of the past. You can easily upgrade the sound by using computer style speakers into the head phone socket in the front, or an amp and speakers into the phono sockets at the rear. I havent used the USB socket to upload records to my computer yet but this seems like a useful function. Have played loads of old records and works great.

Adagio violin strings , cheap price but not pro strings
Set of 4 Full size violin strings that cost me £7.
The strings are adequate and very good value at only £7
I would recommend them for anyone on a tight budget with a cheap instrument.
They are no where near as good as the Dominant or Tonica strings, that I regularly use, these Adagio strings are really for students/beginners.
There is no plastic bridge sleeve included for the top E string, I used the one off my old E string.
Most of the strings are slightly too long (especially the G) so you end up wrapping the string around the peg a lot, not just the coloured wound section. They are still Ok and easy to fit.
The sound is bright enough when bowed hard but any lighter playing shows up inadequacy in the sound, really you just have to play fortissimo all the time to make them sound any good. No dynamics and no decent response to quieter playing. This may be Ok for some players that always play hard, they are loud enough. Basically you have to work hard to make the instrument sing but it can be done.
For the price that is expected, I'm comparing them to strings that cost 4 or 5 times as much.
I tried them out as an experiment for a week and a few playing sessions but I will change back to more expensive strings asap....lesson learnt, you get what you pay for! Also they have been slipping out of tune overnight..it is winter time I suppose! When the room temperature is stable during the day they do stay in tune.

good jacket, sizes are on the large size, I got a medium which fits great, instead of my usual large size.
