compelling reading
this is the first of eight "fictional" books written by Stella Remington based on her experiences working in MI5. the heroine is Liz Carlyle who is working to protect Britain from various threats..
each book can be read as an individual item, but they are best read in the published order so as to understand the references to previous activities.
I was very quickly drawn into the story and "adventures" of Liz Carlyle and was kept interested all the way through, in this case looking at problems coming from the Middle East.
if you like detective/spy stories then this is good for you.
Stella Remington first book was her autobiography. which is also a good read.

brilliant read.
Another fantastic story by Julia London. this is the 2nd book of a Trilogy and ideally you should read them in order.
BUT like all of Julia's books they can be enjoyed for the story inside the covers. I prefer the physical book however the story remains as fascinating if read in e-form.
so do not delay go out and purchase the books from this great Author, in which ever form fits you best. Just READ THEM.

a great read
Close Call is one of several books written by Stella Rimmington who is a former head of MI5.
the Heroine Liz Carlyle is an MI5 officer working hard to prevent terrorist attacks here in the UK.
the theme is a cross between a detective story and a spy story which ever way you wish to look at it the story keeps you entertained,
Stella's books do not need to be read in the order they are written, but it is an advantage to do so because of references to things that happened in previous books.
go out and buy this and all her other books and don't delay. settle down with something to drink and get engrossed in the story oh and forget everything that's going on around you, that's not important enough to put down a good book.
