PetTech PT01A ADDITIONAL Collar For PT0Z1 Dog Training Kit - 1200ft Range - NEW!

Pettech is confusing.

Supposedly 1000 model and 1200 model are not cross functional yet 1200 collar did not pair with 1200 remote, even though it looks exactly like a 1200 collar. It paired with old 1000. So the 2 dogs that need the collars the most are on old 1000 remote and dog that needs collar the least on new 1200 collar and remote. Either defective or gray goods going out the side door of factory.

Great product. Simplified my life.

Have been using about 1 week. BlueTooth Connection: Make sure to download all Jabra apps from iPhone store, Jabra Sport, JabraConnect, Jabra-Sound, things just work better. A bit glitchy changing pairing from phone to computer and back. Sound: OK through iPhone music app. Decidedly better through Jabra-Sound app with Dolby. Some of music could not be played due to DRM. Health and other Fitness apps. As most devices and software still a work in progress. Using Map My Fitness app. Brings over calories from workout seamlessly in Nutrition. Does decent job of tracking heart rate during workout. Can GPS track through iPhone. Heart Rate Monitor: The sensor os optical on skin. Start with clean dry surface. If fit in ear is not perfect, can be tugged and HR reading will vary. Fit: In ear is most secure. Personally prefer Comply Foam tips. Nice additional passive noise canceling. Wire management system takes some fiddling to ensure fit in ear and consistent HR detection. Was able to ditch the Polar watch, strap and USB sync. 3 less pieces to monitor and maintain. 4/5, always room for improvement. Best Jabra product I have owned.

Not Feeling the Love Now

***Update*** Received replacement. Back in love. Will it last? ***Update**** Finally contacted Garmin. Sending replacement unit. Update: Crashed 24 hours ago. No help from Garmin *** Original My requirements were an on-wrist heart rate monitor, GPS tracking, water resistant, golf tracking, back lit display, and multi day battery. Tracked dog park walk and yard work. 4 hour golf round 40% of battery. Yardage’s spot on. Auto advance to next hole with or without scores. No problem in water. Works on all points!
