I can read french
I had this book when I was young and wanted it to read to my own children. They found it as endearing as I did. Wonderful first french book.

Captivating read - could not put it down! Online resources available too.
I bought this book for my children but I always read first to make sure content is suitable. I could not put it down! It grabs you from the start and throws a lot of 'red herrings' so you don't have a clue what way it is going to pan out - no spotting the 'bad guy' on the first page! Also, the book has a vast amount of resources online which was great for us as homeschoolers. We used the book as our literature this term. Very good book with fantastic resources on the publishers website. Highly recommend it.
