WLC100 is Adequate for Basic Soldering
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich I've used the Weller WTCPS 60 watt station for more than 20 years. It always served me well and solder joints were consistent. I can't say the same about the WLC100 soldering station. It takes a bit longer to heat up, and doesn't seem to regulate the temperature at all. You must manually adjust the pot on the base (start at 3) for the application at hand. Not recommended for delicate work, only basic soldering.

Poor Quality - Poor Instructions
The instructions are written only in Chinese. With my 30+ yrs exp. in electronics, I was able to help my son sort it out, but the board and schematic were inconsistent. The quality of the board itself is extremely poor - very little copper and bad silkscreen. After allo was done, it didn't even work.

Poor Quality - Poor Execution
The instructions are written only in Chinese. With my 30+ yrs exp. in electronics, I was able to help my son sort it out, but the board and schematic were inconsistent. The quality of the board itself is extremely poor - very little copper and bad silkscreen. This kit uses a battery for the clock, but you ALSO NEED a power supply to light the displays -neither is included. Poor design, it doesn't work very well.
