Dull light
I have several 10 watt lights and they are very bright and have two rows of led lights , the light I received on has one row of LED's and its not very bright but for the money it works well as a small area light or for camping, it should be fine.

Must tune plate to your setup
Mounting is EZ and plate is well made, On a new Yamaha 25 HP
Problem one when plate is in the locked down position slowed boat speed to .07 mph but very hard to rise speed even just to 1.0 mph it took too much RPM and you loose steering control with plate in the locked down position .
Released lock on plate and allowed it to free float and control was much better but speed was not what I needed.
I removed the lower spring loaded flap , ez to remove , two cotter pins and off.
I adjusted the spring tension on the plate hinge and filed, polished and lubed the flap. The thing works great for my trolling needs and now I can adjust the speed to any point and steers great for better boat control , I am a Happy Troller Now , you need to work on it to fit your needs.
