Best Detector on the Market!
After having several other radar detectors in the late 90s I bought a Valentine One. IMO they are the best radar detector out there and keep the driver the most informed. The company is great to work with as since I purchased mine long ago there have been a few updates and you just mail it to them and they mail back a updated unit. My wife has always used other models and in the long run has spent more money on lesser protection. There have been times I slowed down as she was following me and she had no clue why then she would see the officer and what would have been too late her detector would THEN go off.

Not as loud as it is big
It works and seems to be built ok but it is NOT as loud as one would expect it to be.

Seems to be good quality, price was right.
Can never tell if good quality until it has a couple years use but the look and feel out of the box does seem to be quality. I feel a lot better than my old leather chair would leave me at the end of the day.
