Old product past its shelf life, very unreliable
I bought 2 of these from Adorama and only 1 would charge. I returned the other and the replacement also would not charge. The replacement for that one also would not charge, nor would the one that replaced that one. I gave up at that point: 1 good one out of 5. The problem is, it may have been a good product when new, but these grips have been sitting in warehouses for about 6 years now, and LiPo batteries deteriorate after sitting that long without being recharged. So, they are being dumped everywhere at these cheap prices, but you can save yourself a probable headache by giving it a miss.

They wear out much too quickly
i bought 3 of these, and they worked okay the first few times I used them -- they are decoded and will charge in the camera and will show remaining charge -- but they deteriorated faster than any battery I've ever owned, for any camera. At first, they powered the camera for over an hour, as they should, but after only about 7 or 8 recharges, one was down to running the camera less than 3 minutes (threw it away), and the other two are down to about 30 minutes and decreasing every time use them. (The 6-year-old original batteries still last about an hour.)
