Febi front engine mount for A6 (c6 4f) ebay
I had to change both engine mounts on my A6 this weekend so I purchased these from eBay as Audi did not have stock for 2 months and I couldn't wait. These have saved me a lot of money so I was skeptical about their quality. My car has done around 500 miles on the Febi front engine mounts and they seem firmer than the originals by around 30%. This is not a problem for me and they may settle after more miles. So inside the car you have the slightest engine vibration but this is a small price to pay as it is only slight and may settle after time. When I compared the originals and the Febi side by side before fitting, they looked identical so this gave me more confidence in the product. General driving and gear change has improved especially as they are firmer and can transfer the energy to the road wheels better and is one reason why I hope they remain firm. I'm pleased with this purchase.

Spring assist on Mk5 golf Tdi
Took 15 minutes to Jack up and locate these on the rear. Wanted to see if they would keep rear up for more positive steering while towing caravan. They reduced bounce and gave mid bend over steer o felt more positive. Raise the rear and stopped the crashing on big potholes. Definitely made the 3 hour journey more comfortable just need to reduce steering input on big bends a little. When not towing you dont notice they are there if you buy the right size. Did the job! I'm pleased.
