Inexpensive yet fully functional power supply

First comes first, the kit arrived super fast, only 2 days after purchase. It was very easy to assemble, the instructions were ample and straightforward. The information leaflet not only tells how to assemble the product but it also explains how the circuit works - a nice touch! After populating the PCB, the power supply worked for the first try without problems. It can also operate from 6V input voltage and still produces up to 180V. Overall, I'm fully satisfied and recommend this kit!

Works OK but sensitive to noise

It works OK, but one should be aware that the module is very sensitive to electric noise. When I tried to use it ca 30 cm from my laptop (running Arduino IDE) the output signal of the module was totally useless. However, with the laptop switched off, it gave a decent signal. I made the experiment ca 800 km from the DCF77 transmitter.

Brighter than the old ones

Functional laser pointer, definitively brighter than the older deep-red (650nm) ones. As usual with inexpensive pointers, the beam is slit shaped. You need to press hard the "on" button to make it work (otherwise the laser just flickers). Considering the price I paid, I'm satisfied.
