Round knife
I used a blade which I think was made from a saw blade for 40(yes 40) years and it worked good. I finally got this knife and it is really good. It was pretty sharp when I got it and a little time with a strop made it a lot sharper. Took a while to learn to how to use it and hold it but I am really impressed with it. Cuts heavy leather with ease. Learn to hold it and strop it and enjoy. You won’t be sorry that you got it. The one that I got may have been a second as some of the stamping on the blade is not complete but It’s not a big deal. Good steel and holds an edge well. It has elevated my ability to cut out projects. Much easier to use than I expected. Be very careful when you use it as there’s a lot of sharp edge exposed and you can cut yourself easily. I wish that I had gotten one a long time ago.

Round knife
Great knife. It was pretty sharp and a quick strop made it really sharp. I had not had one before but it surely is going to be a favorite tool soon. I used other kinds of knifes for 50 years. Yes 50. Wish I had gotten one a long time ago. Didn’t know much about them before but I can recommend this one to anyone. First project should be a sheath as you want to protect the edge and your fingers. It will cut you badly without some protection. Also learn how to hold it. Safety first. Now that I have the knife I believe it is a factory second. The printing is not complete. Did not have any effect on the use ability at all. Is just crazy sharp with little stropping. Great value. Well pleased with this knife.

Edge groover.
I like this tool. I had one and it worked well. Changing the tips was a pain so I bought 2 more. A little honing was needed for the groover tip to make it easier to use. Like all cutting tools it needs to be maintained.
