Firm and supports your neck.
The pillows were firm with as gusset to keep the edge from sinking down,they support your neck.

Shocked at first with the starched appearance of the washcloths.
They did fluff out a bit when they were washed and the second wash helped to make them a little less abrasive. But it turns out, my husband likes the roughness in a washcloth. I kept them and will get used to them or buy some softer ones, and have his and hers.

Mashes down on the edge, to less than a half inch, no neck support!
This pillow was comfortable but where I had hoped it would cradle my neck and shoulder, it mashed
down to about a half inch thick or less. Will keep looking (I sent it back)
