Works great ! Good deal. Nice to carry as a spare when your main battery gives out. Just swap batteries and go.

Not your average laser
While you may be aware of lasers in EBAY selling for $2, this particular one comes with 5 lens caps.
If you're not familiar with them, they take the single bright laser beam (and yes this one is VERY bright), and diffuse it into a pattern as you see in the illustration.
But it's actually better than that. If you take the tip and rotate only it, then it animates, the little stars dance in and out from each other, and you get this for all the lenses.
Truly a wonderful find, and unlike it's slightly higher powered version, this one uses and is powered only by 2 triple A batteries. Not the special larger battery that costs $10 each and requires constant recharging.
No, just 2 triple A batteries, and you can buy these anywhere.
How bright is the beam ? Without a lens cap In a completely dark room you can actually see the green line leading from the laser device to the target, floor, or ceiling. It's so bright that it flickers the air around it. You can see minute dust particles around the line it creates.
The beam is so bright you can easily see it in daylight and the point it creates is so bright it's actually hard to look at.
It uses a button that you hold to activate it, so there are no worries of the battery draining down by leaving it on accidentally as some lasers have.
It's also small in design, about the size of a Sharpie (Marker). Not the size of a bulky flashlight like the slightly higher powered one is.
I think if you buy this laser, you won't want another. Completely worth the cost.
Would make an outstanding gift for anyone even remotely interested in lasers - and always buy the one that has the lens caps.
