Design is disappointing
I planned to attach it to a tactical backpack. I had hoped that the waist belt could be removed to eliminate the extra belt and buckle. Unfortunately that waist belt is sewn to the bag inside a sleeve in a manor which doesn't allow it to be easily removed.
I can make it work for my purpose by cutting off both ends of the belt. Just unexpected but still a little disappointed.

Very pleased and recommend book highly.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I have been an active birder for the last 30 years. My wife and I planned an Alaska/Yukon trip which include several days of birding. My old Peterson Western Guide was about worn out so I ordered another. I was very pleased with my purchase.
The plates, field descriptions, and range maps were everything I have come to love about Peterson's data organization. The plastic covers held up well to the days of drizzle. The binding produced no loose pages even after days of travel in my backpack.
We also carried a similar book by Sibley which didn't hold up as well.

I have thumbs to weak to load mag w/o this devise. Works WONDERFULLY WELL.
