Works, but had a dead element in the LED. I pulled it from my non-working unit, and soldered it in, so works fine now.

Skookum little unit!
I needed a DC-DC module for a small solar project, and have had poor luck with the smaller cheap modules. This thing however just doesn't seem to care about heat, current, noise or anything. It runs at about 80C pushing 26.6 to SLA batteries at 100 watts, and it ticks along perfectly happy. I probably will set up some airflow for it, solely as a precaution, not because it seems to need it.
It uses multi-turn pots for adjustments, so it's easy to set it to a precise location, and then a dab of locktite to keep it in place and then ignore it.
For a hobbyist, little modules like these really simplify designs, and I coudln't be happier with this one!
