Needed for older Mercury
Older Mercury's such as my 2004 optimax does not have the Terminator plug with the engine. This is the part you need to allow vesselview mobile to communicate with your smartphone or tablet

Overall very nice.
The design of this bag could use a little improvement. Small holes on either side of the top zipper so I wouldn't consider this bag "air tight". With that being said gaps are minimal if you use it right and I don't see it being much of a problem. Will hold 5 layers and even your thickest winter parka with land most accessories (socks gloves etc) with little room if any to spare. but not your boots. The top is very accessable thanks to the large opening. The construction itself is full of ruggedness. From the zippers to the seams and the material this bag is tough and I could see it lasting a very long time. Ended up buying a second one for my daughters hunting clothes. Would have been 5 stars if not for the minor gaps on the edge of the zipper. Excellent quality though.
