Our original Odyssey door speakers with ...
Our original Odyssey door speakers with the blue plastic translucent diaphragms had been blown and rattling for years. Read forums that the rears were same size but paper diaphragms, which checked out. So, I purchased these, which are identical to the rears. Arrived today securely packed (wired together face-to-face to protect the diaphragms and tightly wrapped in cardboard). I installed them tonight, and they sound great. I am very happy with these speakers and with this seller. Thank you!

As you expect from a design book, it is designed to convey its principals in an appealing manner.
I bought a copy to have because I enjoyed the copy I borrowed from the library so much. Each of the design principals is demonstrated with "before" and "after" examples accompanying the text. It's a fast read with a very appealing layout.

Subtle in its approach.
In explicating the conservative mind through a survey of the notable conservative statesmen, philosophers, poets, and authors, Kirk is very subtle in his approach. I spent much of my time reading the book getting hints and clues along the way of what constitutes a conservative mind. In the end, the themes of tradition, prescription, and higher moral order come into clearer view and against radical innovation and the mediocrity of mass democracy and collectivism.
