Great Little Guide
This is an interesting and well-written book and although I know the area pretty well still found new ideas for walks, especially just off the South Downs Way. Very enjoyable guide and well sized to travel with.

Enjoyable visit to many gardens around the world
Although this particular publication was launched back in year 2000 and pre-dates the digital revolution, it is still a very pleasant "walk-through" of techniques rather than detailed capture notes. It approaches the subject from a slightly different perspective compared with more modern publications Images are very tasteful, culled from many locations worldwide. I have read this author's books on garden design, Impressionist painters and other garden related topics and they are all well written and interesting. I would like to visit Derek Fell's own garden at some time
