Perfect Gift for a New Cook!
I bought 2 of these as gifts for my 20-something nieces, as it gives step-by-step instructions on many of the recipes. It's just a nice educational tool on the basics, especially for those just learning to cook. I used this myself (& still do), and have been able to add my own flair to several of the recipes - except the raspberry ribbon pie, which is a home run, without any adjustments! I even knew a wonderful caterer, who used this volume all the time, with great success!
